We received 162 bottles from the Knob Creek single barrel select bourbon. This bourbon was selected by Mike Baladi, John Fassino, Chris Parker, and Steve Corbin during a virtual tasting on 15 February of this year. It was barreled on 21 July 2011 so it aged ~10 years in warehouse 1, floor 6, rick 54 before being bottled at 120 proof. There were a total of 224 bottles requested and 156 bottles allocated leaving only 6 bottles to be distributed by the primary gentlemen's discretion. Allocations were maxed at 3 per person. Allocations are below.

Bloomington: Porch pick up from my house near Olcott Park in Bloomington.
On base: Unlike last pick up, I will only bring bottles to base after coordination because I don’t want them sitting in a hot vehicle all day and I don’t want to carry cases into my office. I am normally on base Monday’s and Wednesdays. Bottles can be picked up during my lunch break - generally Monday’s 1100-1130 and Wednesday’s from 1030-1100. Please send me a text to let me know you want to grab your bottles. If lunch time doesn’t work for you, then send me a text and I can coordinate before/after work.
Washing DC area: delivery costs are $1,000. :-)

Lukasz has been making progress on our CWS website to keep historical information from barrel picks, have group forums, and potentially host future barrel bottle requests. Check it out. Leave a comment. Future barrel sign ups will likely be coordinate through there.
Lastly, we have a pretty active CWS WhatsApp Group Chat. If anyone wants to participate, you can click on the invite link here. However, this comes with a warning - the group is active and while most of the conversations are about whisk(e)y, they often go on tangents. Give it a try - if you like it use it.
